Travel and stay

Many of you are traveling from near and far to celebrate with us in Älvkarleby, and your presence truly means the world to us. We’ve arranged accommodation nearby for up to 60 guests to help make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. However, since we're expecting around 100 guests in total, we unfortunately can't guarantee a spot for everyone.If you'd like to secure a place, we recommend booking early. Please also note that the accommodation may not be able to offer private rooms for all guests. If you have specific preferences or would prefer a private stay, we recommend checking out a nearby manor hotel (herrgård) in the area.s

Officersvillorna

The 'Officersvillorna' are located on Laxön, just a short 15-minute walk from the reception and ceremony venue. With 60 beds available, it's first come, first served. Please note that we cannot guarantee single or double rooms; accommodations may include charming bunk beds. If you'd like to stay here, please let us know in your RSVP and indicate your preference.

Älvkarleö Herrgård

Älvkarleö Herrgård is a beautiful manor just a short distance from the wedding venue, only a 5-minute drive away. Set in a peaceful, scenic location, it offers a more private and intimate stay for those looking for something special. We recommend it for guests who prefer a unique, tranquil setting.

Getting to and from the celebration should be as smooth as possible, and we're here to help make that happen! If you're arriving by train, there's a direct connection from Uppsala Central Station to Älvkarleby. From Älvkarleby station, it's just a 7-minute walk to Stora Hallen, where both the ceremony and reception will take place, and about a 15-minute walk to the accommodations we've arranged. To make things extra easy, we'll also be providing a shuttle service for all our guests between the venue and the accommodation—so no need to worry about walking in your fancy shoes!
